  Quality masculine dog of good size and breed type. Good skull not too wide leading to good stop muzzle and good fleshy nose. Good eye shape and colour very good expression. ears well placed good length, good head furnishings. Moderate clean neck into well-built squarely shaped body. Good depth and breadth, very good rib and strong loin, well set tail correct top line. Well-developed thighs good muscle, firm hocks. Presented in very good coat and condition. Moved steady holding good outline, steady reach and has very good width and drive from rear to win this very nice class. Much to appreciate DCC & BOB and nice to see him gain a short list in the group.

  Presented a lovely clean outline. balanced head, not too deep in stop rising to lean oval skull, deep in muzzle, lovely kind expression, ears set on low. Short strong neck set well into well angulated shoulder. Chest deep with adequate spring, loin well muscled, long sweeping stifle, hocks well let down. He is a pleasure to watch on the move with his long easy stride. He has a harsh coat. CC

  I have judged this dog previously but nearly two years on he has improved further, he is mature, impressive, and at his peak. He has an excellent head, correct skull shape defined median line and typical spinone human expression. Super forehand, deep chest and correct topline. He is strong and muscular over croup and hocks are broad and strong. Shown in super coarse dense coat with proper furnishings on brows and beard. His movement is accurate and powerful and he has a great rapport with his handler, shown in pristine condition. My CC winner and BOB and delighted to see him take Gundog Group 3.

  6 yr dog of some quality and one of I remember watching him in the ring several times when he was a youngster, he makes a pleasing picture on the stack, robustly built and in fit condition, he stands on strong oval bone and compact feet although not quite as true as the winner, short crested neck fitting into well laid shoulders, body is square with deep chest and well sprung ribs and he is a powerful mover covering the ground with ease. A close decision between these 2 lovely boys.

  For me the star of the day, stunning dog who depicts the breed type. Another with excellent harsh coat and excellent muscle. Best of heads with a lovely kind expression, good neck into clean shoulders, has the square appearance you look for in the breed. Moves true and with power and style, sound as a pound and delighted to award him CC and BOB.

  5yrs and what a super D. Lovely square outline. Masculine head of correct shape and proportions. Divergent planes and dark eyes. Muscular neck into super forequarters with well laid shoulders and return of upper arm. Strong bone and large round feet. Deep well sprung ribs under a correct topline to a well muscled and well angled rear. True easy mover. BOB and please he went BIS 3.
