Our Coefficient of Inbreeding is calculated to the maximum number of generations we have for this dog.

The AVK is the Ancestor Loss Coefficient and it measures how many ancestors occur multiple times in 6 generations for this dog.
The higher the AVK, the more unique ancestors in the pedigree, the lower the AVK the more repeated ancestors.

If you can fill in any gaps in pedigrees please let us have details. We are especially looking for any pedigrees you may have for the early imports and their ancestors.
You can scan or photograph and then email to Linda Mayne.

a robust w/o dog with a great compact outline who stood out in this class of nice dogs. His head has good proportions with a lovely soft expression. His front assembly is excellent with well placed shoulders. Squarely built with correct topline and good depth of chest, nothing overdone. He has very good bone and large round feet. Well muscled rear which showed in his powerful movement. Delighted to award him DCC today.

Loved his type, solid and masculine. Well made front with good width, super underline showing minimal tuck-up. Strong well made rear producing drive to the sound movement. Well off for bone and good feet. Head showing correct divergent planes, loved his expression. Pushed hard for the RCC.

2 year old male, well off for bone and coat, prominent breast bone and correct oval bone. Good head, deep muzzle with a kind expression, shoulders could have more layback, deep chest and a well sprung rib and well muscled loin. To finish the picture I would prefer more width of second thigh, won the class on his free ground covering movement.

Liked this W/O boy when stood and settled, square shape to him with correct topline, pleasing head and good soft expression, well laid shoulders and well sprung ribs, short strong loin and good rear angulation, a bit flighty on the move and found him a bit narrow behind when moving away, time is on his side.

I was drawn to the typical square outline of this dog and his correct height to length ratio. He has ample bone, super shoulders with a straight front and strong pasterns. He is well ribbed and has sturdy hindquarters with hocks well let down. Has a good coat and presented in muscular condition, I preferred the tail carriage of the winner when moving round the ring.

Typical head of good proportions and almost human expression. Strong neck flowing into well placed shoulders. Ribs well back. Sufficient oval bone. Moved well but preferred the reach and drive of the winner today.

Another good one. He has a good headpiece with divergent planes, eyes good and ears set on well, giving a masculine expression. Decent lay back of shoulder, stands on well boned legs and compact feet. Body well made, depth of chest, good spring to ribs and tuck up. Good quarters, stifles well bent. Moved out well, not as relaxed as the winner today. Coat in good condition with a decent texture.

Good outline and layback, just heavier in head than 1.

This boy was right up there with the quality of the CC winners. I absolutely love him. He stood out for type. An old fashioned Italian type Spinone with substance, but still fit for function. Excellent head, reminiscent of those great males from yesteryear. Beautiful expression from his ochre eyes. He is square with correct topline and underline. Good forechest. Solid bone. Excellent thick skin and coat. He is a powerful mover. In the run off, he just carried his tail a tad high. But he’s young and full of exuberance. His day will come.

Youngster who could not be denied top honours on the day. The standard asks for a squarely built dog with the length from point of shoulder to point of buttock equal to height at withers and that is what you get here. His correct shape is combined with the required solid construction and good strength of bone and a very typical outlook. Balanced head with a kind eye. Excellent layback of shoulder, good depth of chest with plenty of heartroom and powerful hindquarters that he uses to advantage on the move and a correct tailset. Very positive on the move, at times a little exuberant but he is a young dog finding his feet. Excellent skin and a good coat completed the picture, CC.
