Our Coefficient of Inbreeding is calculated to the maximum number of generations we have for this dog.

The AVK is the Ancestor Loss Coefficient and it measures how many ancestors occur multiple times in 6 generations for this dog.
The higher the AVK, the more unique ancestors in the pedigree, the lower the AVK the more repeated ancestors.

If you can fill in any gaps in pedigrees please let us have details. We are especially looking for any pedigrees you may have for the early imports and their ancestors.

close up to 1, he also has the most beautiful head, long and lean, very gentle expression, nice spongy nose, his neck was short and strong with a well developed dewlap which I felt was lacking in some exhibits. He has a good sternum and well sprung ribs with good depth of chest. Angulation front and rear was balanced, square in body and good slope to the croup with a nice tailset. His movement was sound and true but felt he was lacking a little in oomph today.

Another quality brown roan with a lovely head of correct proportions. He is balanced, well constructed all through and beautifully presented. Correct topline and underline. He stands on good bone and feet. Moved soundly just a little lethargically in the challenge so couldn’t go higher today.

Took the 2nd spot on his movement and muscle condition. A strong mature brown roan male, who could easily work all day. Another with a slightly darker shade of brown roan and something that needs to be watched in the breed going forward. A worthy champion that met all the correct breed characteristics, head was of a nice balanced size to body. Correct divergence with good length ratio. Good depth of chest, good bone and quality of coat and thick skin. Strong loin into correct tail set and good movement.

Another of my favourites and a worthy Sh Ch. I gave him a RCC last time. Medium sized male. He hasn’t quite the head of one, although his head planes are correct and correct skull to muzzle ratio. He has has the edge on square outline over 1. He looked a little heavy over the shoulders today. His coat is fabulous, so harsh, correct length and tight fitting. Excellent skin too. Moderate Rear angulation and tendon visible. Couldn’t quite match the movement of 1 on the day, but another one who holds his tail correctly.

Medium sized brown roan, squarely built dog with strong bone. Skull of equal proportions, large dark eyes. Well muscled neck, strong shoulders well laid back. Chest broad and deep, ribs well sprung. Well muscled thighs, could be firmer in rear movement. Moved positively in profile on a free and easy stride.
