Our Coefficient of Inbreeding is calculated to the maximum number of generations we have for this dog.

The AVK is the Ancestor Loss Coefficient and it measures how many ancestors occur multiple times in 6 generations for this dog.
The higher the AVK, the more unique ancestors in the pedigree, the lower the AVK the more repeated ancestors.

If you can fill in any gaps in pedigrees please let us have details. We are especially looking for any pedigrees you may have for the early imports and their ancestors.
You can scan or photograph and then email to Linda Mayne.

Another excellent white and orange dog. Lovely head with correct planes and expression, onto strong, short , muscular neck. Good layback of shoulder and depth of chest, strong straight forelegs and slightly, sloping pasterns. Typical topline, held on the move. Strong, broad, well-muscled, hind quarters. Good width and length of thigh, hocks well let down to strong rear pasterns. Well off for bone, thick, leathery skin and presented in a coat of excellent texture and condition. Moved well just lacked the drive of class winner today. A quality Spinone, pleased to award him RDCC.

It is no secret that I love this dog – I’ve used him at stud after all. His head is beautiful. 50:50 proportions, divergent head planes, good eye colour and that large spongy nose! He is a shade longer than square but is beautifully constructed fore and aft with ribs well back and a short loin. Thick skin, coat is excellent texture and he moves accurately in any direction. Good bone and feet. He is presented in perfect condition. A worthy title holder and I was pleased to be able to add another CC & BOB to his tally.

This is a lovely dog who has matured nicely – very obviously a male without being too heavy. Correct head planes and proportions, good scissor bite. Strong neck, plenty of depth and width of chest. Good shoulder angulation. Plenty of upper arm with lots of elbow room which showed in his reaching front movement. Good rear angulation. Correct topline and underline. Thick skin and good coat texture. Presented with lots of muscle and in great condition. Moved accurately with lots of reach and drive – effortlessly covering the ground. Easily BOB today.

4 year old orange roan male. One who I have watched and admired on many occasions. Was a pleasure to get my hands on him and he did not disappoint. I have written “fab bone, fab coat. He has a beautiful male head with correct divergent planes. Well balanced and great mover.” It was lovely to see him in the big ring which gave him the space to show his wonderful long gaiting stride. It was a pleasure to see him take BIS4 against some quality dogs, well done.

Great favourite of mine who I have done well before and was close up to the top winners today but just had to give way to the younger generation. Like his size and well balanced appearance. Pleasing head piece with a good eye and expression. Stands on the best of legs and feet. Excellent depth of chest with plenty of heartroom, well ribbed with a good width of quarters and a pleasing bend of stifle. As always presented in good coat and condition. Moved well on a ground covering stride.
