Apologies for the late critique, was positive I had sent it in, but when Lesley reminded me, I remember I was waiting on a marked up catalogue due to the handling write ups.
Firstly may I thank the officers & committee of Pollards for my appointment & on running the show so well with the weather that we had that day & to both sets of stewards for a sterling job & to all the exhibitors for the laughs & good sportsmanship.

1st		Star at Station	Bovio	13 month old w/o bitch upon looking at her beautiful square shape, the lovely rise & fall of the topline, correct head planes, eyes giving off that beautiful near human eye, ears correctly set of lovely length, a strong neck leading to a stunning front, lovely bone & the perfect big strong Spinone paws given the job they were given. This young lady has an amazing harsh coat, nicely muscled rear, not overdone as you would expect of a dog of her age, beautiful rear angulations which she used so well round the ring with the tick tock tail movement Spinone are famous for.
2nd		Osulf Peanuts Nutmeg	Hodgson	10 month b/r bitch, the overall look of this girl is lovely & square. Very much a baby, lovely head, correct head planes, good kind eye, ears correct in placement & length, good front & shoulder placement, good depth of chest, lovely harsh coat, lovely little girl, just needs to mature.
3rd		August Dreamer	Mann	11 month old w/o male, on first view this boy is stunning in outline, I see afterwards when writing up my critiques, he is litter mate to 1st place, his human like eye melts you, perfect head divergence. That beautiful strong Spinone neck, correct rise & fall of the topline leading to correct tail set, good rear angulations. For me, his time will come, he needs to mature to see the true Italian Stallion he is & needs to steady down to assess his movement.

1st		Make A Splash	Mann	18 month old w/o male, first impression of this boy was wow, he makes skin tingling you die to get your hands on him, at his age still lots more to come, correct head shape, good occiput with the roof like sides to the skull called for, correct head divergence, his beautiful eyes pull you in like he reads your soul, nice ear set & length of ear, beautiful short muscled neck, lovely lay of shoulder, good bone finished by perfect big Spinone feet, lovely ribs & coupling leading to well muscled rear legs with nice angulation & a good tail set. He floated round the ring with no effort, pleased to award his BOB.
2nd		Ilsolo Chewbacca	Bovio	14 month old b/r bitch, first view is of a beautiful square shaped girl, nice head, lovely kind Spinone expression, nice ear set & length, lovely front & lay of shoulder, well let down chest, lovely ribs, in good coat.
3rd		Osulf Chocolate Biscuit	Hidgson	15 month b/r bitch, again a nice shape on first view, nice head, good eyes & ears, lovely neck, good depth of chest, in lovely harsh coat, lovely to judge her in a year or so, she just needs to mature.

1st		Olives Daydream Believer	Hodgson	4 year old w/o male, this boy has always been one I've admired but till now what can I say about him on first view, his shape & bone really do hit you, he was "I am here & look at me", a true ring master who oozes Spinone & you certainly know that he is all male with his macular head finished with such gentle eye, a complete perfect head shape for a Spinone, beautiful deep front bone, correct topline for a Spinone, lovely tail set & good angulations, sadly on the day, his movement wasn't up to what I know he can do still which sadly lost out on BOB, but most happy to ward him the RBOB.
