ISCGB Open Show - 29/03/2025

Victoria Ciesielski (Javal)

I want to thank the committee for selecting me to judge this exceptional show. It was a genuine honour.
I also want to thank the entire committee and stewards for organising and managing such a successful event. It was a pleasure to judge so many wonderful dogs, so I appreciate your trust in me and your effort in caring for your dogs. It was great to see some new faces becoming involved in our sport. I believe it’s key to remember why we do this — because it should be fun! Sometimes, that has been overlooked over the years. If new people don't see that all the effort and passion are worthwhile, the sport could decline. We need to keep this in mind when inviting newcomers into our breed and support them wholeheartedly.
I've loved and owned Spinoni for many years. My first was an orange girl, Bella, then Sylvester, my first brown, gifted on my 18th birthday. Although I've taken breaks from showing, my passion for the breed has never waned. The breed has changed over time, but we must keep working toward betterment.

If we have made any errors or omissions in our Spinone results, please
accept our apologies and email corrections to results@italianspinone.co.uk
We follow up with the KC all missing Championship show critiques
that are outstanding after 3 months.
Whilst we make every effort to obtain critiques, if they are not forthcoming
please note it is the KC who are ultimately responsible for obtaining these.
