Thank you to the SKC for inviting me to judge Spinone (which is always a pleasure) at the All Breeds Show. Thanks also to my steward Elaine for a job well done, and also the exhibitors for entering their lovely dogs. I found the breed in fine form and the day was most enjoyable. The Dog CC was a choice between two quality boys, the Open Dog who moves so well already has his title and rightly so and the Limit Dog who I thought was excellent all through. Has a super outline that is so hard to ignore and moves with breed typical trot. He won the CC and later BOB. I was told later it was his 2nd today, I am sure his title will soon follow at only 2 years old. He is going to take his fair share. The Bitch ticket was a choice from Open both title holders and both lovely feminine girls. The winner was a fine example of the breed. I saw later in the catalogue that her dam was a favourite of mine and she also produced the Res CC Dog and Best Puppy, obviously passing on her quality to her offspring. Her owners must be so proud. Thanks again for a super day and wishing the breed all the best for the future.

1st		Affilato Jump The Gun	Clark & Sharp	W/O 7 month old. Most promising youngster of good breed type. Lovely masculine head with kind eye and expression. Pleasing in neck and front construction. Good depth and topline. Well formed rear with plenty of bone throughout. Coat and skin correct. Stood gave balanced outline and moved out well on an easy stride of good length. Pleased to award him B.P.
2nd		Gellini Going For Gold with Jocagil	Gill	W/O 6 month old baby. Pleased in head shape with good ears. Liked his expressive eye, neck short. He has good depth for age, body substance and topline were nice. Both front and rear assembly was good, not so advanced as (1) in growth but this will come in time. Coat and skin pleased. Shown and moved out well.

1st		Testaverde Deal or No Deal	Mackay	B/R 2½ year old, head of good type and shape. He has an expressive dark eye, short strong neck leading to well made front assembly. Chest deep and well held topline. Muscular in hindquarters. Has good frame on the stack but still needs to fill all through which will come as he matures, movement was very good. Sound and true on a steady stride. Shown and presented well.
2nd		Quebaikei Tartan N Tweed	Burrows	B/R 3 year old boy. Larger in make and shape than (1) but not overdone. Nice in head shape. Lovely kind dark eye. Giving pleasing expression. Ear set well. Neck short. Well formed shoulders. Pretty deep ribbing. Nice topline correct. Muscular thighs and good width. Coat and condition pleased. Shown well. Pushed (1) all the way. Just liked (1)’s movement more on the day.

1st		Rubino Spinone del Mucrone with Riccini	Whittingham, Bexon & Wright	W/O 2 year old. What a smart Spinone. Took my eye when he came into the ring. His outline is correct, squarely built and hard to fault. True to breed type. Lovely in head and expression. Ears well set. Short neck leading to front assembly that is muscular with well laid shoulders. Super body and depth. Correct in topline. Broad firm hindquarters, stifle and tendons good. Plenty of bone for frame not overdone. Well padded feet of good shape. Coat and skin correct. Tail held to advantage. For me excellent on the stack so balanced, moved out sound and true on a good length breed typical trot. Still a young boy with more to come. Pleased to award him the CC and later BOB. Well done.
2nd		Ellisbell Piaggio	Glazik	W/O 3 year old boy. I have judged before and he still appeals. Masculine head and expression. Short strong neck. Front construction pleased. He has good depth and body of substance. Well formed in rear with good bone throughout. Moved soundly and showed well. Coat and skin good. Put down in good muscular tone.

1st		Sh Ch Affilato You Can Bank On It (JW)	Clark & Sharp	W/O quality boy of good type. Lovely head with divergent planes. Kind eye of correct colour. Pleasing in expression. Muscular short neck, front assembly well made. Depth and ribbing good. He has a good topline and strong make and shape in rear. Plenty of bone for frame, coat and skin correct. Stood looks the part. But his forte is the sound breed typical movement in which he holds himself so well, giving a good length of stride. A worthy title holder and one to be proud of. Pleased to award him the Res CC. Well done.
2nd		Sh Ch Inostricani Bell Ragazzo via Krismoor (JW)	Littlemore	W/O lovely boy of pleasing breed type. Scores in head with breed typical expression. Kind eye of correct colour. Neck short, chest depth and ribs pleased. Liked his rear assembly with good stifle. He has plenty of bone for frame. Stood gives a picture of balance. Coat skin and muscular tone pleased. His movement was sound and on a good length stride. Shown very well. Pushed (1) all the way. A worthy Sh. Ch and one to be proud of.

Has good angles both front and rear. Strong in topline, plenty of bone. Coat and skin good. Nice feet. Stood well on stack showing balance. Movement was breed typical. Shown in top order, not looking his age.

1st		Inostricani Mabel	Kay	W/O I liked this baby a lot. Feminine head of correct shape, Sweetest expression and eye of good colour. Neck short. Body depth pleased. Both front and rear angulation was good. Coat correct. Stood well and moved out really well for one so young. Nice bone for frame. Should finish well.

1st		Quebaikei Heather N Honey for Oaklaw	Lawton	W/O feminine throughout. Lovely in head. Sweet expression. Correct eye and ear set, well made in front. Body depth pleased. Rear was well angled. Nice in bone for frame. Pleasing in feet with good coat and skin. Stood balanced. Moved out very well, sound with drive. Nice girl.
2nd		Scodinzolare Paola del Feriiia	Mackay	W/O compact girl in outline. Stronger in make and shape than (1). Pleasing in head with kind expression. Strong neck of correct length. Well put together in front. Ribbing sprung. Liked her rear quarters. Nice bone for frame. Coat and skin pleased. Shown and moved well on a good length.

Firm in rear quarters. Outline balanced, moved and shown well. Condition and muscular tone pleased. Coat and skin good.
2nd		Dewdhala Sempre Agnese (JW Jww24)	Wagh	W/O 2 year old. This girl has a good head. So feminine. Body compact in shape. Both front and rear angulation pleased. Coat and skin ok. Stood looked well just not the finish of (1) yet. Giving a lot away in age. Her time will come as she matures. Nice in type.

1st		Sh Ch Affilato It Had To Be You (JW)	Sharp	W/O what a compact feminine bitch. Loved her head of good shape with dark expressive eye. She has that special Spinone expression. Good ears set well. Clean short neck. Leading to well made shoulders. Good chest and body depth. Nice topline. Well made in rear quarters. Tail set and carried well. Her skin and coat were very good, coarse to touch and dense. Stood looked the part and moved out very well with drive to take the class and later the CC. Well done. A young bitch that can only get better.
2nd		Sh Ch Annilann Miss Big Girl Spanx (JW)	Challands	W/O 3 year old quality girl, close up to (1). So feminine throughout. Lovely head and expressive eye. Correct divergent planes. Ears set well. Front construction good. Her body has balance and depth, leading to good hindquarters. Scores in topline. Stood looks really well and moves out true with drive from rear. Coat and skin pleased. Shown in top order. She was my B.P last time I judged the breed. Thrilled to see she has grown into a lovely bitch and gained her crown. She is still young and sure to have even more success in the future. Pleased to award her the Res CC. Well done.

She is strong in neck which is short. Good shaped shoulders and front construction. Firm body with nice substance. Muscular rear assembly that pleased. Good bone. She moved sound and true on a good length stride. Stood looked balanced. Presented in top order. One to be proud of. Pleased to make her Best Veteran.
